Will I ever be warm again?

Could I just say that I am sooo sick of this cold weather I could scream!! Every morning I walk out to my precious car that I have affectionately named Gabe and I have to scrape a thick--no, very thick layer of frost off of him. It is damn lucky that I have a down filled coat because Kimmy can't handle this bone chilling weather without one. I look forward to the day that I can throw on flip flops instead. So, for all who are wishing they were in Hawaii, let's go for pete sake!!! I will book our flights.

What a fine piece of machinery!

Not too long ago someone asked me if I could drive stick. I told them I had only done it once or twice. I found this picture of one of the cars I learned in. It was my friend Brian's car. Don't I look hot in it? Let's just say that it is not a slow car. I think I'll stick to an automatic though. This is the before picture of the car. I won't show you the after. Just kidding ; )

The Barber Business

I realize that some of you have been unable to comment on my blog. For this I apologize. I thought that I had fixed the problem, but apparently hadn't, according to my good friend Brian. He has something that he is dying to say, sooo, I think that I have fixed it...I hope. My only excuse is I'm a barber and am not expected to work at the computer all day. I make men handsome, which brings me to my next point...barbering is the life! I love to cut men's hair. I love that I work at the BYU barbershop and Derrell's Barbershop. I love that it's a traditional getaway for men to talk about sports, home repair (or any repair for that matter), the weather, and other things that men talk about. I love to be apart of it. There is even a smell at Derrell's that you just can't beat. It's the smell of men. It's indescribable! And, no, it's not stinky for all of you who are wondering. Some say barbershops are going to be extinct someday. I say they damn well better not be!

Off to a good start...Bowman's the bomb!!

So Michelle and I have had all kinds of Home teachers since we've lived in the Grandview #15. We've had some goofy ones, some serious ones, and I hate to say we've had some flaky ones. Our current home teacher's name is Bowman. Bowman is the home teacher everyone loves. He is funny, thoughtful, spirtiual, and he would do anything for his Mickey and Kimmy (maybe not anything, but almost). Bowman came to visit us the first Sunday of the month and he wore that nice tie you see in the picture. He also taught us a few things about our cameras. Not that Mickey needed the lesson, but I sure did! Gosh I love Bowman!

Holiday eating! Isn't it fantasic?

Well, it's the new year so I thought I ought to get up with the times and technology. Got a new digital camera for Christmas and I needed to learn how to get my pictures onto the computer. I am an idiot when it comes to this kind of stuff. I won't be though because this is part of my new year's resolution. My sisters are bloggers and I need to join up. I don't know why I feel this need except to feel apart of all the excitement. I look at their blogs almost everyday and I love it. So heres to the blogging bug! My first picture to add to the blog... These pictures are up because one of my new years resolutions is to cut out the sweets. I definately tried to get in as many sweets in my body before the New Year as possible. Thanks Suzanne for all of the chocolate and stuff. Kimmy's dream come true!
